• The Hillsboro-Deering Integrated Preschool program is a special education (IDEA) grant funded program. The classroom includes students who are receiving special education services as well as students who have been able to enter the program through a lottery process.


    The preschool classrooms are designed to encourage children to explore and actively learn in a center-bas    ed learning community. This language-rich and literacy-based program meets the needs of the whole child by providing a curriculum that encourages active learning experiences in the following areas of development: cognition, language, social-emotional development, and motor skills (fine and gross). The program is designed to ensure that children receive a quality educational experience in secure, comfortable and positive learning environments.
