In 8th grade Art UA #1 we will explore Mola art, clay tiles, one and two point perspective, and Illustrated Words. Self-evaluations will be done on Google Classroom, as well as severl options for digital art projects. Grades are based on total points. The competencies are vocabulary, respond, media, technique, and connection. We have 32 days of class this year.

In 8th grade Healthy Cooking UA #2 we will explore cooking utensils, measuring and measuring math, knife skills, smoothie makeover, the incredible edible egg, and My Plate. We will cook a variety of different dishes and do hands-on projects. Grades are based on total points, and the cooking lessons are graded using a self-evaluation rubric. We are looking at how students work together on projects, as well as following directions, taste/flavor, appearance, and time management.
